Advent of Dungeons 2024: Day 24 – RAIN

Now that I’m on day 24, I’m wondering why I picked RAIN instead of SNOW. One of these options clearly works for the holidays. The other one sounds like something random picked while staring out the window and doing free association to come up with a word.

Weird.

My Day 24 Content

Today’s prompt was RAIN. Let’s come up with an adventure based around that.

Quest: After heavy rain, a prized pig has been lost and must be found

Scene 1: With a bunch of standing water, the party needs to ford through piranha infested water.

Scene 2: In the rain, the forest trail has washed away, but the party can explore and find an ancient path.

Scene 3: As they head along the path, they find that a variety of animals are being lured into a trap in a cave

Scene 4: In the cave, they awaken an ancient, hungry bear spirit who wants to eat everything.

Scene 5: Having been exposed by the rain, there’s an entire dungeon below.
